I'm in the exact same boat. I just started avoiding those massive, cluttered medical portals altogether for general stuff. I much prefer reading straightforward health blogs that respect your privacy and don't bombard you with pop-ups the second you open a page.

For instance, when I want to read up on general health tips, nutrition, or wellness, I usually just check out https://wellnessguidehub.com/. It's so much cleaner and easier to read without feeling like you're being watched by a dozen advertisers. Finding safe, quiet corners of the internet for health info is so important these days!

Exactly this! It’s not just the privacy issue for me; it’s the user experience. You open an article about vitamins or back pain, and suddenly half the screen is an auto-playing video ad, and the other half is a newsletter sign-up. It makes reading on a phone almost impossible. I've started avoiding those big corporate sites too and prefer independent blogs now.

I completely agree with lagot and Amarulla! The tracking on those massive medical portals is honestly terrifying. It’s nobody’s business what symptoms I’m looking up. Using an ad-blocker helps, but honestly, those sites are still so cluttered. Does anyone know any good, straightforward health blogs that don't bombard you with pop-ups and respect privacy?
