Awesome!!
Thanks.
Are there hiking groups that I may be able to tag along with? I’ve had difficulty finding any online.

Hi all,

I’ll be in Brisbane for a weekend in March.
I’m looking to see if there are any good nature walks in the area.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

only regulation I can think of is that you can’t bring any produce or any seeds or anything into the country.
If you’re bringing tramping boots or a tent, make sure they’re clean, or they’ll be chucked out at the airport.

I’d recommend starting in Wellington and moving out from there. It’s a relatively small city (walk from one end to the other in under 90 minutes), so you won’t get overwhelmed, and there’s plenty of good hiking and cultural areas in the vicinity.

Then I’d suggest heading around the South Island. I always say that the North Island has the culture, the South Island has the beauty. It’s  just not fair at all. Every time you drive around a corner it gets more beautiful.

I’m sure you’ve heard, but the weather up here is currently ridiculous! You’ll want to get here as soon as possible to enjoy the sun and low levels of wind!!!!

Hi Nikita, never lived anywhere else. Recently started a new job for gouvernment. You?

Jre, NZ is great! Mostly very relaxed. Aside from being in Auckland, you're never more than half an hour for some sort of bush or field to explore. Definitely come! The South Island has the natural beauty, and the north island has more of the culture I'd say. You'll never have to deal with the blistering heat that nevada'S had recently. But it can get quite cold here in winter. Especially in the South Island.
To most of the people I chat with, Trump's a bit of a scary joke.

Hey there, finally decided to join the group, to see if there are any other Kiwis here.
Only one! Woot!
Representing Wellington here.
Great to know I'm not the only one of us who listens.
