Re: How much duties does the US customs charge on Car import?

Not as simple a question as it looks.

First of all is it a car, or a truck? Where do you draw the line?
Then of course it depends on the country of origin. And is a car assembled in Canada from Chinese parts a Canadian car?
A car assembled in the USA is not free of duty if many of the parts were imported from other than free trade countries.
To determine the exact tariff number, and therefore duty rate, all kinds of details are required. Engine size, passenger capacity, possibly the cabin size and/or cargo capacity.
So if you can provide the answers to all those questions I might be able to answer your question.

Well, it would definitely depend on the broker and its services. Simply find some reliable one and ask them about the procedure and costs to be on the safe side. I used to apply to this company https://clearitusa.com/customs-consulting/ and was pretty satisfied with their services. They are many years in that business and will definitely help you safe money and nerves.
